At Cascades Humane Society, volunteers are valued and vital to what we do. Those of us here at CHS appreciate your time and help to further our mission, connecting animals in need with people who care!

Please note, you must be onboarded and have completed training in order to handle our animals here at CHS. Volunteers must be 13 years or older with a guardian or 16+ to volunteer on their own.

CHS Trunk or Treat!
Date: Monday, October 30th (6pm-8pm)
Location: Cascades Humane Society
Help us run a spook-tacular trunk or treat event at CHS!
Dog Therapy at the Interfaith Shelter
Date: Thursday, October 26th (12pm-1pm)
Location: Interfaith Shelter in Jackson
Once a month we take dogs out to the Jackson Interfaith Shelter. Our animals bring joy to the residents and add extra incentive. We love connecting with our community.
Hollywood Feed Adoption Events
Date: Multiple Dates
Location: Hollywood Feed in Ann Arbor
Attend adoption events at Hollywood Feed and talk about CHS!
Pet Food Pantry Help
Date: 1st Saturday of Every Month (12pm -2pm)
Location: Cascades Humane Society
On the first Saturday of every month we provide supplemental pet food for Jackson County families in need. We would love to have you join us.
