Feline Flow Yoga is an event that started just over a year ago with the goal of having fun, connecting visitors with adoptable cats and raising money for Cascades Humane Society. Since its initial class, it has morphed into something much more. Enrichment is a vital part of the lives of the pets in our care, and Feline Flow Yoga is one way we can do just that! We will flow with standing, seated and supine poses among our feline friends. We will use a mix of friendly and outgoing cats and those who need help coming out of their shell. Laurie Lewis is a Registered Yoga Teacher who has completed more than 200 hours of hands-on training. She is registered with the international organization, Yoga Alliance. She donates her time and talents once per month to CHS and the cats in our care so that she can bring much-needed enrichment to those who need it most. We hope that you will join us! Meowmaste! Each of our feline friends is available for adoption. Adoption staff will be available after class if you are interested in visiting and perhaps finding a friend who is in need of a forever home! Please bring your own Yoga mat and towel. A limited number of mats are available for a $2 rental. 100% of proceeds will benefit the Cascades Humane Society. Space is limited. Instead of one large gathering, we will be offering it on an individual basis! Sandhill Crane Vineyards is partnering with us to provide you an intimate Wine and Whiskers experience. Instead of the crowd, you can go when convenient for you, with the guests of your choosing. Once there, present them with your ticket and they will give you two glasses of wine of your choosing (the same amount as you would get in samples) in your complimentary Wine and Whiskers wine glass (they are not conducting tastings due to COVID-19). In lieu of food samples, they will give you a small charcuterie plate. Sit back, relax, and enjoy this gorgeous setting! Sandhill Crane Vineyards is open Wednesday & Thursday from 12-7 pm, Friday 12-10 pm, Saturday 12-7 pm, Sunday 12-5 pm. The team at Sandhill Crane will be grilling on Friday, Saturday, & Sunday and they even offer a schedule of live music! Tickets are still just $30 and all proceeds go to helping the animals in our care. Tickets may be used anytime between August 1st and September 30th. This is a great way to get rid of some things you've been meaning to donate and get in some good late spring/early summer cleaning done! Remember that CHS is a tax-exempt public charity and that your donations are 100% tax-deductible! CHS will accept lightly used donations from July 24th through July 31st during our normal business hours of 12-6 pm Tuesday-Saturday to sell in our Community Yard Sale. We will also accept donations by appointment if you're unable to make it during these times. Want to come and sell your own items at our Community Yard Sale? We will have a limited amount of booths available for $35 each. Each booth will include one table and two chairs. 100% of the proceeds from this event will be used to benefit the animals at CHS!
