Blooms and Brews, a Huge Success!

We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who attended our Blooms & Brews event and helped make it such a joyful and successful celebration!

The day began with a special ribbon cutting ceremony, in partnership with the Jackson Chamber of Commerce, to unveil our brand-new Faith & James Knight Cat Suite. Built by O’Harrow Construction, this beautiful space was made possible thanks to their incredible craftsmanship and dedication. Project lead Randy Nicholas went above and beyond for CHS and will forever be considered an honorary member of our team. This new room will help us meet the growing need to care for our expanding feline population—and we’re thrilled to report that 10 cats and 6 dogs found loving homes that day!

Guests enjoyed sampling wines, hard ciders, and beers from local wineries and breweries, while browsing unique handmade items and fresh flowers from our talented vendors. Many vendors provided interactive experiences, from creating custom bouquets, to selecting the perfect chain for permanent jewelry, to opening an oyster with Mermaid Pearl and discovering a surprise pearl—pink, purple, blue, white, or grey!

We could not have done this without the support of our wonderful volunteers, who helped prepare the gardens and grounds and assisted throughout the event. And a huge thank you to our amazing staff for their hard work behind the scenes to ensure a warm and welcoming experience for all our guests.

Events like Blooms & Brews support the mission of Cascades Humane Society and help our animals get one step closer to their forever homes. Thank you for being a part of something special.
